This optional weapon will fit all VR5 frame Leviathans.
The Vulkan Cannon carries six 10” gun barrels and is able to fire two shots per second from its fifty round magazine. Faster rates of fire are possible, but it was found that many pilots could not keep the Leviathan standing due to the recoil.
The short cartridge does not leave much room for propellant but it is more than enough to throw its high explosive round down range.
Early versions suffered from jams but the propellant charge was reduced and some minor changes were made to the feed mechanism to solve this problem.
